Utrecht Strengthens Community Power with Simplified Subsidy Schemes

The municipality of Utrecht is simplifying the rules for subsidies. There are now two new subsidies. The first is called social foundation subsidy.

The second is a subsidy for managed playgrounds and self-managed welfare buildings. Through these subsidies, the municipality aims to strengthen the social community in neighborhoods and districts. This makes it easier for people to get help close to home.

People can also help each other better. The rules are now easier and there is less paperwork. This way, the facilities are easily accessible to everyone.
