Special Works on Monicabrug

This summer, special works are taking place at the Monicabrug in the center of Utrecht. The bridge often makes noise when cars drive over it. That is why the municipality is going to properly repair the bridge.

On the weekend of August 1 and 2, a large crane will lift the bridge off its supports. The bridge will then be temporarily moved to another location nearby. This way, the maintenance can be done properly, and it is hoped that people will no longer be disturbed by the noise.

Afterwards, the bridge will be placed back in its original location.
