Nineteen fountains turned off earlier due to E.coli bacteria

Too much E.coli bacteria has been found in the water of some fountains in Amsterdam. Therefore, the municipality of Amsterdam is now shutting down 19 fountains. The fountains will be turned off immediately.

It is important that people do not play in or drink the water from these fountains.
