Register for the Open Day of the KNMI (Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute)

On Saturday, October 3rd, the KNMI will have an open day in De Bilt. This open day is for everyone, for children and adults. You can visit the KNMI between 12:30 PM and 4:30 PM.

You can do many fun things, such as jumping to feel how an earthquake works, measuring how fast the wind blows, and talking with real scientists. You can also get a guided tour of the KNMI’s measurement field. There are two times you can come: at 12:30 PM or at 2:30 PM.

You must register in advance because there are not many places. Registration is also mandatory for children from four years old. If you register, they expect you to actually come.

Come by bike or public transport, because you cannot come by car. There is a special bicycle parking facility at the KNMI on this day. Follow the website for more information.
