More space for cyclists around Vaartsche Rijn station: bicycle parking expansion

Utrecht Vaartsche Rijn station is being expanded because more and more people and cyclists are arriving. The Municipality of Utrecht and ProRail (the Dutch railway infrastructure manager) are expanding the bicycle parking facility on the Oosterkade. They are making the car park smaller.

This will create space for approximately 650 additional bicycles. The area around the station will also become easier to navigate and clearer for all travelers.
