In Amsterdam, a group of 644 asylum seekers is taking part in a pilot project. This pilot helps asylum seekers find work in the Netherlands more quickly. Many asylum seekers would like to work.
Employers in Amsterdam are looking for people who can work. As part of the pilot, the asylum seekers speak with employers and receive help finding a job. Both the asylum seekers and the employers consider the pilot successful.
They hope that more pilots of this kind will be introduced in the future.
