People with disabilities often experience unpleasant situations. Sometimes they are excluded or treated differently. Dinand Brummelhuis (a person with a disability) has a disability himself.
He says that anyone can acquire a disability. Dinand believes it is important that people with and without disabilities are treated equally. He simply wants to participate in society.
Dinand says that some people still have prejudices about people with disabilities. He says that it is better if people continue to treat one another normally and talk together. That way, people with disabilities can simply participate in everyday life.
