De Volkskrant (The People’s Newspaper) reports that Prime Minister Rob Jetten and D66 (Democrats 66) posted at least 232 artificial intelligence-generated messages. The newspaper used the Pangram program for this purpose. Jetten says that artificial intelligence sometimes helps and that people still check the texts.

PSV (Philips Sport Vereniging) drew 1–1 with Shakhtar Donetsk in Eindhoven in the Champions League. Mendoza made it 0–1 just before halftime after Sergiño Dest lost possession. Shortly after halftime, Dest scored the equalizer.

A new Merwede Bridge will be built near Sleeuwijk as part of the widening of the A27 motorway. According to Rijkswaterstaat (the Dutch Directorate-General for Public Works and Water Management), a western bridge will be built first. The traffic will then be moved there, and the old bridge will be removed.

The average energy bill will rise by ten percent over the next five years. Many households will pay 400 to 600 euros more per year in 2031. This is mainly due to higher grid charges.
