Rik van der Graaf appointed as alderman for asylum and social shelter in Utrecht

Rik van der Graaf was chosen as alderman in Utrecht on Thursday, October 2. He will work on asylum, integration, and social shelter. He is also working on the project 'Samen voor Overvecht' (Together for Overvecht, a neighborhood development initiative).

Rik van der Graaf replaces Rachel Streefland, who stepped down on September 26. He was previously a council member for the Christian Union (ChristenUnie, a Dutch political party) and project manager at Mobycon (a consulting firm focused on sustainable mobility). Now he wants to help make Utrecht a beautiful and fair city.
