Cold Weather Regulation in Utrecht Effective Again from November 1

From November 1, there is a special cold weather regulation in Utrecht (a city in the Netherlands). This regulation starts when the temperature drops below 0 degrees Celsius at night. Also, if there is a red alert, homeless people can find a place to sleep.

This also applies to people who normally do not receive any help. The cold weather regulation is not only in Utrecht but also in The Hague (Den Haag), Amsterdam, and Rotterdam (cities in the Netherlands). In Utrecht, there is a new shelter location on Savannahweg (Savannah Road).

Here, a maximum of 175 people can sleep per night. This winter, there might be more people who need a place to stay.
