Neighborhood- and district-oriented work in the spotlight during LPB Congress in Utrecht

In Utrecht, there is a large congress from Wednesday, November 19 to Friday, November 21, 2025. This congress is called the LPB Congress. The LPB (Local Participation Board) helps municipalities to cooperate better in the neighborhood.

More than one hundred municipalities are participating in this congress. The theme of this year is 'Connection from the Heart'. During the congress, people can see various places in Utrecht where good neighborhood cooperation takes place.

There are also speakers, such as Dwight van de Vijver. He was a district police officer for a long time in Kanaleneiland (a neighborhood in Utrecht). Marije van den Berg is also a speaker.

She is a researcher and writer. Approximately 550 people from municipalities and neighborhood organizations from all over the Netherlands come to the congress.
