The Animal Ambulance Amsterdam helps many animals in the city. They go out approximately 15,000 times a year to rescue or help animals. They used to always use diesel cars, but now they also have an electric car.

With the electric car, they drive to places in the city where animals need help. This is better for the environment because the car does not produce dirty emissions. It is also quieter on the street this way.

Now they no longer have to drive a big diesel car to a small bird, like a great tit. With the electric car, they can more easily access the small streets of Amsterdam. This way, they can quickly and cleanly help animals in the city.
