Start of mural designed by youth affected by benefits scandal

In Utrecht, an artist is creating a large mural. The artist is called JanIsDeMan. He is painting on a wall of a flat building on Taagdreef.

This flat belongs to the housing corporation Woonin. The mural is 15 meters wide and 8 meters high. Together with young people who were affected by the benefits scandal, the artist designed the mural.

The mural shows how these young people are working on their recovery.
