Municipality of Utrecht Establishes Implementation Program for Wervengebied 2026–2030

The municipality of Utrecht has created a new plan for the Wervengebied. This plan covers the years 2026 to 2030. The plan specifies which smoke walls, vault walls, and old cellars will be built or repaired in the coming years.

It also states who manages the area and how the municipality works together with people who own a cellar or others who are important to the area. For the first time, the plan also looks ahead to the future beyond 2030. The municipality already explains how the work will be carried out in phases until 2050.
