On Zeeburgereiland in Amsterdam, archaeologists have found ancient remains. These concern parts of a military shooting range. That shooting range was built at the beginning of the twentieth century.

The archaeologists have thoroughly examined the remains. They found parts of the range in the ground. It shows that there were military activities on this island in the past.
