Amsterdam Residents Join as ‘City Formateurs’ in Coalition Negotiations

In Amsterdam, ordinary people are now helping with the new city government. Three residents, Eva Bollen, Saskia Bosnie, and Abdelhamid Idrissi, have been chosen as 'city formateurs'. Together with the parties Pro Amsterdam and D66, they are exploring how to form a new government for Amsterdam.

This way, city residents can also participate in discussions and contribute ideas on important decisions. This is new in Amsterdam. Many people think it is good that residents are now allowed to do more in the city’s politics.
