Utrecht Triangle: Planned Railway Blockade at Utrecht Central Not Allowed

Extinction Rebellion (XR) wants to block the train tracks at Utrecht Central on May 23, 2026. This is prohibited and dangerous. The police will intervene if people try to block the tracks.

XR also wants to hold a sit-in at the station. People are allowed to demonstrate in the square at the station. But behind the gates, this is not allowed because the rules of NS (Dutch Railways) apply there.
