Progress in Neighborhood Approach Overvecht: Cooperation Strengthened, Results Visible, Challenges Remain

The municipality of Utrecht (gemeente Utrecht) is working together with other groups on the Overvecht neighborhood. They are doing this with the plan 'Together for Overvecht'. They have now shared an update on how this plan is progressing.

Some things are going well, but there is still work to be done. The plan has five goals. First of all, they want people to be able to live comfortably in Overvecht.

Secondly, they want children and young people to have more opportunities. Thirdly, they want the neighborhood to be safe. Fourthly, they want care and support to be easy to find for everyone.

And the final goal is that everyone can participate and can work or start their own business. The people from the neighborhood, the municipality of Utrecht, and other groups are working well together. Because of this cooperation, they are already seeing improvements in Overvecht.

But there are still challenges. The municipality says they will continue to work together towards a better neighborhood.
