Deze zomer zijn er speciale werkzaamheden bij de Monicabrug in het centrum van Utrecht.
This summer, special works are taking place at the Monicabrug in the center of Utrecht.
De brug maakt vaak lawaai als auto’s eroverheen rijden.
The bridge often makes noise when cars drive over it.
Daarom gaat de gemeente de brug goed repareren.
That is why the municipality is going to properly repair the bridge.
In het weekend van 1 en 2 augustus haalt een grote kraan de brug uit de steunpunten.
On the weekend of August 1 and 2, a large crane will lift the bridge off its supports.
De brug wordt dan tijdelijk naar een andere plek in de buurt gebracht.
The bridge will then be temporarily moved to another location nearby.
Zo kan het onderhoud goed gebeuren en hopen mensen geen last meer te hebben van het geluid.

Daarna komt de brug weer terug op haar plaats.
