Bridge Overtoomsesluis closed for over 7 months to cars and tram

The bridge Overtoomsesluis will be closed on September 16 to cars, trucks, and tram 1. This will remain so until May 1. Workers will repair the bridge.

The bridge has not been functioning properly since October 2025. Cars, trucks, and trams will not be able to cross it at that time. People who live or work there will have to take a different route.
