Heritage of the Week | A Gondola in the Amstel

Open Monument Day takes place on September 12 and 13. You can visit the Amstel Hotel (a historic hotel in Amsterdam) then. This hotel is located on the Amstel River.

Many people consider the hotel very special. In the past, the masseur Dr. Mezger worked at the hotel. People called him “the masseur of princes.”

Dr. Mezger made the hotel famous in other countries.
