Stadsschouwburg Amsterdam (Amsterdam City Theatre) has its name back

From September 22, the name Stadsschouwburg Amsterdam will once again appear on the theatre building. This theatre is located on Leidseplein in Amsterdam. The name was absent for a while, but it is now returning to the façade.

Many people know this building because plays and performances are often held there. It is an important theatre for the city. Some moments in the theatre’s history are very special.

Many well-known actors and groups have performed here. People can now see the theatre’s real name again when they walk past Leidseplein.
