The court in Den Bosch will give its verdict on the Stint case on Friday. Four children died in the accident in Oss in 2018. The Public Prosecution Service is demanding several years in prison for the directors. Their defense says that the exact cause has not been established. The bereaved want the directors to be held responsible. Three years in prison have also been demanded against Romeo Castelen for money laundering. The police in Stadskanaal are holding a 34-year-old man longer in custody for car arson.

Cybercriminals have accessed data from 6.2 million Odido (telecommunications company) accounts. Names, addresses, phone numbers, birthdates, and bank numbers may have been stolen. Odido is still investigating how many people have been affected. The hack was discovered last weekend. The Data Protection Authority is supervising the case. Customers will be notified by Odido if their data has been leaked.

Xandra Velzeboer has won gold in the 500 meter short track. Jens van 't Wout won gold in the 1000 meters and is the first Dutch man with Olympic short track gold. Merel Conijn took silver in the 5,000 meters skating.

Louis Vuitton has received a fine of 500,000 euros from the Public Prosecution Service. The brand did not properly check in the Netherlands who paid large amounts of cash in the stores. As a result, criminal money could be laundered. A woman from Lelystad is suspected of laundering more than 2 million euros in cash. The case against her and two others is still ongoing.

Michael van Gerwen lost to Gerwyn Price in the Premier League Darts final in Antwerp. In the semi-final he did beat world champion Luke Littler. Gian van Veen lost to Price and was quickly out of the tournament. Van Gerwen is still at the top of the rankings.
