The police arrested five minors after violence in Beverwijk and Heemskerk. They are boys aged 12 to 15 from Castricum, Beverwijk, Heemskerk, and Uitgeest. On January 13, the group assaulted a victim in Beverwijk. Five days later, the group assaulted two peers in Heemskerk. Images of both incidents appeared on Snapchat.

The police leadership and Minister Van Weel offered apologies in the Lisa case. Earlier, about 1700 police officers received a letter about information in that case. Van Weel confused files and systems, and the investigation continues.

The cabinet is sending the frigate Zr. Ms. Evertsen (His Majesty's Ship Evertsen) to the eastern Mediterranean Sea. The ship must protect allies such as Cyprus and Turkey against Iranian attacks. The deployment will last several weeks, until early April, with 170 personnel.

A former gynecologist from Rijnstate fathered at least sixteen children with his own sperm. That happened in the 1970s and 1980s at the Elisabeth Gasthuis. Rijnstate reports this after investigation; the doctor also has a hereditary disease.
