On Monday, the Netherlands was silent for two minutes at 8:00 PM for war victims and victims of peace operations.
At the Dam square in Amsterdam, the silence started after the tattoo signal by a trumpeter.

In Rotterdam, the police shot a man in Hoogvliet on Monday.
That happened around 6:15 PM after a report, and he was taken to the hospital.
In Eindhoven, the police arrested a 15-year-old boy after an explosion.
