Light installation 'POND' makes water quality visible in Griftpark

From January 20th, there is a special light installation in Griftpark. This installation is called 'Living Water - POND'. It consists of three spheres that float on the water.

After sunset, these spheres emit colored light. The light shows how clean and healthy the water in the pond is. The spheres get their energy from small creatures, micro-organisms, that live in the water.

They turn the water quality into a beautiful light spectacle. The installation also collects information about the water. This information is used for research on water quality.
